January 22nd, 2016 (Brooklyn, NY) — Blind Idiot God announce the “Raise The Titanic” tour and reveal the powerful new poster and merchandise design created by noted artist Seldon Hunt (Neurosis, Earth, Melvins, Sunn). Hunt also designed the gatefold double-vinyl LP album cover for the band’s 74-minute opus titled, Before Ever After. The record drops April 8th, 2016 in Europe. The band has won the praise of fellow musicians like Lamb of God’s Randy Blythe who calls the new record “a superior piece of work from a groundbreaking band” (TalkHouse).

The album just made the acclaimed Village Voice Paz & Jopp Top Ten list – which is particularly gratifying since it is the band’s first new record in 23 years. It was co-produced by Bill Laswell (Herbie Hancock’s Future Shock, Mick Jagger, PiL, Motörhead, Ramones, Iggy Pop and Miles Davis) who has recorded all the band’s albums to date. Blind Idiot God band members are currently, or have in the past, collaborated with artists like Henry Rollins, John Zorn, Khanate (SUNN), Harley’s War (Cromags), Jodis (Isis), Leprosy, Paige Hamilton/Helmet and many other notable musicians.

Rollins explains “I was able to record with them once, I know it is rare for them to have vocals in their music, so I felt lucky to have been an exception. I remain a fan.” And former King Crimson member, Trey Gunn says the band makes “heavy music that isn’t stupid and doesn’t think I am stupid.”

Indivisible Music is helmed by Andy Hawkins and is based in Brooklyn, NY. The label was established in 2014 “to promote that which cannot be divided, the elemental idea of music for its own sake. Guiding the elemental idea of music through all obstacles, physical or otherwise. The end of genre or classification, recondite musical knowledge declassified for direct effect.”
