February 24, 2015 (Brooklyn, NY) — Indivisible Music announces new Blind Idiot God album release today. The 74-minute opus co-produced by Bill Laswell is titled, Before Ever After. The double-vinyl LPs are pressed on 180 gram green vinyl, in gatefold packaging with album art by Seldon Hunt (Neurosis, Earth, Melvins, Sunn). Pre-sales for the CD format go live today at indivisiblemusic.merchtable.com. Official CD format release date is March 30th (followed by the digital release at the end of April).
“Before Ever After is a dangerous kind of offering” writes The Obelisk, “able to turn on a dime between precision mathematics, reggae, crunching heavy riffage, surf rock and jazz in a wordless sprawl that makes a joke of most bands’ ideas of sonic diversity.” Time Out NY calls the record “a brilliantly gritty new comeback disc…the group’s first recording with current drummer Tim Wyskida, formerly of Khanate.” Wyskida is scheduled to be on-air with WFMU’s Kamikaze Diane on Thursday, March 5th starting at 1:00 pm to promote the new album and the upcoming record release party.
